For over a century, Billiani has specialised in the production of wooden chairs. Based in Manzano in Friuli Venezia Giulia, the company founded in 1911 produces seating for the home and contract markets, combining tradition with an innovative spirit fuelled by partnerships with leading Italian and international designers.
Billiani’s production takes place in the “Chair Triangle” manufacturing district in the heart of Friuli; it is entrusted to small, highly specialised woodworking shops that perpetuate the deeply rooted regional culture. In 2019, with Cristina Celestino’s new artistic direction, the brand’s style became more sophisticated while remaining faithful to wood as Billiani’s mainstay, respecting the history, tradition and art of a brand leader.
