Being “made in Italy”, the smooth planters, vases and furniture by Serralunga, an Italian company established in 1825, feature unique design and first grade workmanship. Some products of the brand are nostalgically rooted in tradition, others – bold and innovative. The planters, which have already reached cult status, were designed by (among others): Ron Arad, Zaha Hadid, Ross Lovegrove, Joan Gaspar, Claudio Bellini and Philippe Starck. Often they resemble sophisticated sculptures. Serralunga also makes beautiful chairs, benches and tables perfect for outdoor and indoor use.
In the first half of the 20th century, Serralunga, as the first company in Europe, adopted and developed the “rotational moulding” technique invented in the US to form plastics. It was first to create planters with bold forms, large sizes and even lighting. One of Serralunga’s vases became the first mass produced vase to find itself in a museum.
Thanks to the use of modern technologies, the products of the Italian brand are more resistant to dirt, graffiti, atmospheric pollution and weather. It makes them the perfect solution for contract projects.
