Framery, founded in 2010, is the leading manufacturer of acoustic pods and phone booths. Their products can solve problems with noise and lack of privacy in the workplace. They have quickly gained recognition around the world and can be found in offices of brands like Microsoft, SAP, Deloitte and PWC among others.

Because the way in which we work is changing, the workplace is also undergoing changes. Modern offices create a synergy effect between those who share a space: a micro society is formed, offering serendipitous encounters. Ilkka Kaikuvuo, co-founder and Head of R&D at Framery will present a couple of non-obvious conclusions from global research, which are set to considerably influence how offices around the world are designed (Friday, October 5, 15:00, main stage in Hall F).

Kaikuvuo has extensive experience in research, software industry and eCommerce. Before he joined Framery he was CEO at Surveypal, a global SaaS company (Software as a Service) whcih specialises in managing feedback about companies. Ilkka had a hand in more than one innovation – and the modern phone booth is one of the most important. He is also involved in startups: from creating algorithms to delivering high class software/hardware solutions.
