“I dream at night in the light of day” is an installation by Alicja Bielawska, created specially for Powidoki cafe (in Museum of Modern Art). The fabric and ceramic balls are eye-catching and, depending on the time of day, lead us through various paths. The title refers to the role of imagination, intuition and memory in the process of creation and perceiving art.
The Warsaw University Library invites to “Prelude” performed by a duet of artists Joanna Goranko (piano) and Władysław Lech (clarnet): July 25 2018 r. at 19.00 in the S. B. Linde room in BUW (Dobra 54/56). Free passes will be distributed in the BUW hallway: on July 24 (at 13:30-16) and July 25 (17-19).
Distinguished, young virtuosos will play a selection of pieces by Polish composers from XIX century up to contemporary music. The programme includes: Fryderyk Chopin (4 preludes from collection 24 preludes op. 28, Mazurki op. 59), Tadeusz Aleksander Baird (2 caprices for clarnet and piano), Marcel Chyrzyński (Dance of Death for clarnet and piano) and Jan Lech (12 preludes for clarnet and piano and instrumental suite).
