Of particular interest is the new ABLE chair, designed by Johan Lindau, Stefan Borselius and Thomas Bernstrand. It is distinguished by its classic, minimalistic, modernist form. It’s also 100% recyclable and manufactured in a sustainable way. ABLE is very flexible, it can be adapted in various configurations, as illustrated by the movie below.

ABLE received the Innovation Award Architecture+ Office 2024 during Orgatec fair in Cologne as well as German Design Award 2025 in the category Excellent Product Design – Furniture.

Another interesting addition to the Blå Station catalogue is the P.Y.R. chair, designed by David Ericsson. P.Y.R. is a celebration of simplicity and the originality of design. In the chair’s marketing copy, Blå Station mentions the issue of copyright in design and calls for respect for original products such as P.Y.R., whose exceptional design requires a lot of time and money.

Blå Station has also upgraded its collection of Bobby chairs and Bobban poufs, designed by Thomas Bernstrand and Stefan Borselius. In addition to magnets, the new Bobby X and Bobban X are now equipped with castors which make them even more flexible and adaptable.
