Of particular interest is the new ABLE chair, designed by Johan Lindau, Stefan Borselius and Thomas Bernstrand. It is distinguished by its classic, minimalistic, modernist form. It’s also 100% recyclable and manufactured in a sustainable way. ABLE is very flexible, it can be adapted in various configurations, as illustrated by the movie below:

ABLE received the Innovation Award Architecture+ Office 2024 during Orgatec fair in Cologne as well as German Design Award 2025 in the category Excellent Product Design – Furniture.

This year the family ABLE has been expanded to include the Able coffee table.

Another interesting addition to the Blå Station catalogue is the P.Y.R. chair, designed by David Ericsson. P.Y.R. is a celebration of simplicity and the originality of design. In the chair’s marketing copy, Blå Station mentions the issue of copyright in design and calls for respect for original products such as P.Y.R., whose exceptional design requires a lot of time and money.

Villhem is a play with words. Vill hem! Meaning; I want to go home! The design is a continuation of interpretation of future requirements in core values and construction.

Villhem comes with a layer glued compression moulded wooden seat shell and armrest which can be upgraded with padded armrests, upholstered seat, backrest and a neck cushion. All at once or separately. Villhem also comes as supersoft, with a steel and nozag inner frame comfortably padded in leather. All of the models are of course easily separable

Decofunc is functional decoration for the wall. The designers and Blå Station wanted to explore a multi flexible non-permanent pattern, that goes hand in hand with functionality. It is a product that is exploring function and decoration in one endless system. Decofunc has a steel frame that can be turned in four different directions – creating endless variations, solid wooden knobs, non-permanent add-ons in hot-moulded recycled polyester felt and soon with flat inserts in wood, steel or felt. Beautiful with and without fillers.

The Spanish design studio Stone Designs has created acoustic panel Drip. Like a thumbprint in soft clay the shape feels familiar and timeless and like the three previous sound absorbers/wall decorations, Ginkgo, Gaia and Arc, Drip is multifunctional in the way that it is just ONE panel that can be turned in four different directions or change place with others, creating new and endless patterns. Drip reduces ambient noise and echoes in the room and gives the room the best sound quality while creating a colourful and inspiring ambient. Drip is mounted on the wall with a magnetic fitting, so you can easily move around the panels when you feel like it, maybe to change direction or go from light to dark.

Dunder X, designed by Stefan Borselius, is a soft shape made up of cushions and connectable sections – friendly and inviting. Dunder X is modular sofa and can be changed to suit any setting you want. You can add Dunder X sections as you wish, back-to-back or front to back, as both the back and armrests fit within the total surface of the seat. Turn and twist and combine according to your own taste. Dunder X is also available as an easy chair.

Turn, designed by White studio, came out in 2023 as a small coffee table in three heights and sizes for the in-between spaces. A straight-forward elegant table as content in the hybrid workspace as in a private home. Now Turn can enter the hospitality areas as a café and dining table with a higher height of 72 cm and a footplate in steel. The tabletop can be round or square or a “round-square” where the sides are straight, inviting the possibility to put tables together for closer community.
