Big Bau, designed for Lammhults by Note Design Studio, strives to rewrite the rules of what a sofa can be and what it can do. The design makes its presence known instantly through generous proportions in width and depth. A lower backrest supports a relaxed resting position, while extra padding and high-resilience foam enhance comfort.
Big Bau takes everything you already love about the design and turns it up a notch, making it even more generous, more inviting, and more comforting. The design shares the same DNA as the original design, while offering comfort that refuses to blend in.
The start of Big Bau marks a new chapter, while remaining true to its core idea: working both as a standalone piece and as a modular seating system that can be configured and expanded over time with additional modules.
Big Bau has been displayed at 3daysofdesign in Copenhagen and official sales are planned for autumn 2026.
