TRULY: new Bolon collection

Bolon is a Swedish brand which received many awards for design and is renown for its sustainable approach to manufacturing.

This year Bolon  launches a new collection – Truly – designed by an in-house team. Thanks to Truly collection any interior can be special.

– We were braver than ever before. We gave ourselves a license to experiment and create based on everything that interested us in recent years. We challenged technical constraints and our own design habits. Our aim was to create patterns and colours unheard of before – says Klara Persson, Head of Product Management.

Truly collection comprises five patterns which reflect five features of the brand. Each pattern has its own expressions. The common denominator are: enlarged patterns, color effects and hyper texture.

ANYTHING EVERYTHING plays with spatial perception, builds an experience of architecture extraordinaire. The graphic pattern moves from intense green to brilliant white with a dark blue background.

DISRUPT AND DISCOVER inky, nearly black base with soft glimmers of yellow and white gloss. A contemporary character, which feels handmade.

100% is a glittering, out of focus, zigzag pattern. A vibrating ultraviolet on an oily, nearly black base.

PRECIS is defined by large “flowing” patterns. A copper glitter, blue sparks on a dark base – a unique play on colour based on a contrast between warm and cold hues.

I SEE YOU resembles a collage – the effect is created by weaving with a layer-on-layer technique. Experimenting with nearly white colours gives this design a chalky sensation.

All patterns are available in rolls and 50×50 cm tiles (apart from “Anything”), optionally with an acoustic layer. Truly can be ordered as a rug (minimal size: 2x2m, maximum size: 4x8m).

Truly is made from profiled vinyl yarn. Made in Sweden in Ulricehamn, solely using renewable energy. It contains recycled materials. All floorings are free from phthalates and heavy metals.

The collection’s durability class is 33 (suitable for high traffic, so for virtually any kind of public space, including offices and shopping centres). Bolon floorings meet the demands of  the European norm EN 13501-1 (fire classification of building materials). Maintenance is easy – 99% of the cleaning can be done with water. They are characterized by longevity, they don’t lose their structure, the colours do not fade. Truly collection has a 15 year guarantee.
