Cane-line visited the studio of the Danish design duo Johannes Foersom & Peter Hiort-Lorenzen to talk about their approach to design and the journey behind the Bliss series.

Areo, designed by Alessandro Stabile for Kristalia, is the result of a production process that combines industrial precision with skilled craftsmanship. The steel frame, made from CNC-bent tubular metal, defines a continuous and durable structure, completed with manual welding to ensure strength and long-term reliability.

With its soft and enveloping shapes, Julep, designed by Jonas Wagell for Tacchini, has won the hearts of those who experience it every day. This family of upholstered furniture is linked to full and generous lines, which acquire an unexpected lightness thanks to the recessed base which almost seems to lift the various elements off the ground. Julep is simple but extremely expressive, it is a play on volumes and proportions available in different finishes which today are enriched with a new variant: leather.

Gum outdoor furniture collection by Vondom

Some design gestures need no explanation. A continuous aluminium tube that curves, wraps, and supports. That draws in the air the precise boundary between structure and rest. That’s Gum. The Gum outdoor furniture collection is the latest collaboration between architect Ramón Esteve and Vondom. A collection where the tubular line isn’t just structure — it’s character. A continuous stroke that runs through every piece — sofa, lounge chair, dining chair, tables — with the fluidity of a hand-drawn gesture and the precision of decades spent thinking about how we inhabit spaces.

HANG ON table by +Halle

HANG ON Table, designed by Fengfan Yang for +Halle, is an unconventional table system designed to rethink and simplify the architecture of a table. Defined by a pared-back extruded aluminium profile, the system reduces the table to its essential elements while allowing functionality to be added where needed through a series of customizable accessories.
