ARCHITECT@WORK, an industry event for architects and investors, took place in Poland for the first time. For 15 years A@W has been organized in various European cities. Now that it came to Warsaw, Marro naturally had to take part. We presented unique, Japanese wall and ceiling veneers SanFoot.

The coronavirus pandemic has turned the world of work as we knew it on its head. Hybrid, multi-local working in agile teams: what yesterday was just a vision of the future, is now the “new normal”. We work in digital, agile, mobile and location-independent working models. How can workspaces satisfy our need for concentration, collaboration and communication in equal measure? Flexibility is the key here. How did our partners respond to these trends?

The past year brought about extensive change for everyone around the world. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, we’ve experienced adaptations in how we work, live, and play; changes in attitudes regarding what really matters; and a shift in our appreciation of nature, our relationships with one another, and what it means to work and be part of a team.

Sustainable design

Today, sustainable design is a common and obvious goal. Novel solutions are emerging – and they bring new expectations. The “recyclable” symbol is not enough anymore. Together with architects, investors and end users we search for solutions which stem from authentic, honest care for the environment. Here you’ll find some of the most interesting examples.

Bright and quiet

We live in a world with too many stimuli – in order to maintain balance, we seek spaces where our senses can rest. This applies not only to sight, which amounts to 80% of data about our surroundings but also hearing. It’s not surprising that acoustic solutions become increasingly popular among architects and investors. The offer is very diverse.

The art of reading

With great pleasure we have returned to the role of host for artistic events. Together with our guests representing the worlds of architecture, business and art we had the special opportunity to listen to a play by Ivan Vyrypaev, read by Karolina Gruszka, Magdalena Górska and Wojciech Urbański. It's not the only form in which art is present in our showrooms.
