The coronavirus pandemic has turned the world of work as we knew it on its head. Hybrid, multi-local working in agile teams: what yesterday was just a vision of the future, is now the “new normal”. We work in digital, agile, mobile and location-independent working models. How can workspaces satisfy our need for concentration, collaboration and communication in equal measure? Flexibility is the key here. How did our partners respond to these trends?

With great pleasure we have returned to the role of host for artistic events. Together with our guests representing the worlds of architecture, business and art we had the special opportunity to listen to a play by Ivan Vyrypaev, read by Karolina Gruszka, Magdalena Górska and Wojciech Urbański. It's not the only form in which art is present in our showrooms.

With great pleasure we have returned to intimate meetings with architects. In our Lipowa showroom, together with our partners: Bolon, Comforty, Italvelutti Polska and Ton, we presented new collections and solutions for contract interiors.

Marro takes part in the Great Orchestra Of Christmas Charity (WOŚP)! In order to support diagnostics and pediatric ophthalmology we have created an auction for the DRUM set (chair and ottoman) made by the legendary, avant-garde Italian brand Cappellini (design: Mac Stopa, 2016). This year's participation takes place within the frames of "Architects play for WOŚP", an initiative by critic and curator of architecture Marcin Szczelina. We invite you to bid in all the auctions - let's beat last year's record!

Pandemic reality forces us to test new formats of spheres that we know: work, house and social life, education of children. Our spaces in Powiśle also undergo a metamorphosis.

Due to the pandemic, the issue of sustainable design gained a new depth. With the hybrid models of work becoming increasingly popular (as well as new expectations of employees) the office has become a space where well-being, health and sustainable development will play a key role. That’s why, together with our strategic partner Haworth, we invite you to an online meeting (June 23, 11:00): Attractive through Sustainability. Approaches for a common future.

Haworth and Kwadrat organise a competition for the best moodboard. The distinguished jury includes Patricia Urquiola, Giulio Cappellini and Stine Find Osther (Kvadrat Vice President Design). The main prize is a trip for two to famous design fair Salone del Mobile (September 2021).
