The past year brought about extensive change for everyone around the world. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, we’ve experienced adaptations in how we work, live, and play; changes in attitudes regarding what really matters; and a shift in our appreciation of nature, our relationships with one another, and what it means to work and be part of a team.

With great pleasure we have returned to the role of host for artistic events. Together with our guests representing the worlds of architecture, business and art we had the special opportunity to listen to a play by Ivan Vyrypaev, read by Karolina Gruszka, Magdalena Górska and Wojciech Urbański. It's not the only form in which art is present in our showrooms.

Pandemic reality forces us to test new formats of spheres that we know: work, house and social life, education of children. Our spaces in Powiśle also undergo a metamorphosis.

How to make 10 000 steps a day without sacrificing office work? The answer is provided by Walkolution: a treadmill which allows us to combine work and exercise. It was created by dr Eric Soehngen, a doctor and author of the book "Death by Sitting". It's mobile, natural and silent (it has no engine). It has received the German Design Award 2021.

Lithography is an old graphic technique. It is time-consuming and incorporates natural materials: handmade paper, most often from cotton. It was created 200 years ago in Bavaria and involves printing on lithographic stones. In our Dobra Showroom you can see and buy large format lithographies by Piotr Kasprzak.

It's not easy to find a partner who understands the spirit of a place or project similarly to us. Every architect and investor knows this. We know it too. That's why when photo shooting our projects we return to people with whom we have a (almost) wordless understanding.

Next Wednesday, on June 10, two events will be held with designers working for the Danish brand Muuto.
